Email and Microsoft 365
- Staff can access Microsoft 365 and Outlook
- Recovery email/phone is up to date
- Shared mailboxes are documented
- Old user accounts are disabled
- Important emails are backed up or retained
Devices and Windows
- Windows updates are not stuck
- Business devices are not running unusually slow
- Important software is licensed and updated
- Staff know who to contact for IT help
- No passwords are stored in unsafe notes
Printers, scanners, WiFi
- Printer drivers are known and documented
- Scanner workflow is tested
- WiFi name and router location are documented
- Router admin access is controlled
- Backup internet option is considered
Backups and support
- Important files are backed up
- Cloud storage sync is checked
- Website/admin access is documented safely
- Support process is clear
- Recurring IT issues are tracked
